Welcome to Sanctuary Studio

Sanctuary Studio is the art studio of mixed media artist, designer and creative business consultant Sonora Beam. We host classes with fantastic artists who teach their process for creating book arts, visual journals, altered books, mail art, writing, painting, collage and other fun stuff. We are located in a renovated warehouse in San Anselmo, California (just North of San Francisco in Marin County).

If you are an artists stymied about how to make your creative dreams real, then don't miss Sonora's workshop, The Artist's Business Journal: A Guidebook for Manifesting Creative Work, offered in the Bay Area for the first time ever in January, 2008.

Happy New Year!

This Fall has been crazy busy: Digital Hive, my design and consulting biz is buzzing like mad (good mad!), and I've been logging long hours on finishing my manuscript based on my business workshop for creatives.

My apologies for the lack of action on my blog during this time. There's a lot to share, I've just been channelling all that energy into the book. What keeps me motivated is thinking of all of you creatives out there who are stuggling with various business challenges—there is a better way to work and create, and I'm honored to share it all. The world needs your work. The more successful artists in the world, the better it is for all of us.
